How to set up your RDS Farm session on Windows 11.

To work with our ERP software Navision you need to create a remote desktop service connection to our RDS Farm with Microsoft Remote Desktop.

Requirements:

The Microsoft Multifactor Authentication application must be installed and set up on your mobile phone. likewise, this method must be the default authentication method. If this is not the case you will not receive the button to approve your identity while connecting to the RDS Farm.

To connect to the RDS Farm on a Microsoft OS laptop or PC, download the "ShowTex RDS Farm" icon. Place the icon on your desktop.

You can save your full email address to avoid typing it each time you connect to the RDS Farm. Here are the steps to adjust this setting.

1. Right-click on the RDS Farm icon and choose “Show more options”.

2. Next, select “Edit.”

3. Fill in your ShowTex email address as “User name” and “Save” the connection settings.

7. Now you can close the settings and double-click the RDS icon to connect to the RDS Farm, or press the connect button.

Please note that logging in with your PIN won't work. You must use your email address and full password.
